Dental Implants
Dental implants offer permanent and fixed solutions to missing teeth. They are a very predictable treatment with over forty years of clinical use during which time many millions of implants have been placed.
Small titanium screws are gently placed into the bone, under strict sterile conditions, so replacing missing roots. Following typically three months of healing, the implant becomes integrated (fused) to the bone. The implants can now be used to secure new predictable and functional teeth.
Depending upon the number of implants provided, they may be used to replace one or many missing teeth or even provide a rigid anchor for dentures. Once placed, implants can be considered permanent.
Dental implants are the closest alternative to natural teeth offering superb aesthetics and providing absolute confidence when talking, eating and laughing.
Following a detailed consultation to check an individual's dental and medical health it is found that most people are suitable candidates for dental implants. Dental implants are now considered the ideal solution for replacing missing teeth as in addition to being permanent, they are easy to clean and offer the highest patient satisfaction.
