Bridges
Bridges are used to fill up spaces where you may be missing a tooth. Usually the teeth on either side of the space are prepared for crowns. The bridge is made in the laboratory linking the replacement tooth to the crowns on either side as one unit. Bridges fabricated with the latest materials and techniques can be made to blend in seamlessly with your own natural teeth allowing you to continue smiling with confidence.
A well designed and constructed bridge should last ten to twelve years and frequently longer if carefully looked after. To maximise a bridge’s life span a high standard of oral health care should be maintained.
